Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Kids Hope USA - Trinity Bible & Crockett Elementary
One child, one hour is the heart of KIDS HOPE USA. One caring adult mentoring an at-risk child one hour every week. Because when kids feel loved and valued, they are better able to learn, grow, and succeed.
But one church, one school is its brilliance. KIDS HOPE USA is a church-based model because churches are better positioned to recruit volunteer mentors who will be faithful over the long haul. These volunteer mentors are loyal to the KIDS HOPE USA program since their church operates and funds it. And because it's provided free of cost for schools, it meets the urgent need of educators for an intervention without breaking their budgets.
The opportunity is vast. The need is great. The idea is simple. One Child, One Hour, One Church, One School. You could be the one.

Founded in 1995, Mercy Heart has been there for families making adjustments when loved ones are incarcerated. Matthew 9:36 says, "When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them because they were distressed and helpless".
Mercy Heart is a vision born out of a need for the church to respond to the broken, discarded, wounded families and individuals in the crisis of incarceration. These are an unseen, largely ignored sub-culture of our society . . . those who exist just below the visible surface of society, in the shadows of our society.
Without the hope of the gospel and inspiration of a personal physical touch they will pass without notice into the darkness of fear, loneliness and shame
